Services

Supportive housing

You will find emergency shelter, transitional housing and scattered site housing available to survivors of domestic violence and their families.  We also offer long term housing for youth ages 16-21 who have been sexually exploited or trafficked at our Safe Harbor shelter. We provide handicapped accessible, safe and secure building, food, access to donated items, transportation, and specially trained advocates available 24 hours a day.

Community Outreach

We provide speakers to groups or organizations in our community looking to learn more about the shelter, our services, or domestic violence in general. If your group or organization is interested in more comprehensive information, we can design a custom training.  All training is free of charge.

24 Hour Crisis line

Staffed 24-hours a day, 7-days a week by trained domestic abuse advocates, the crisis line provides counseling and referrals to anyone seeking information about domestic violence. Compassionate and caring advocates are available at any time to talk about current or past situations, and provide callers with information about community resources or the option of shelter services.

Resource center

Our resource center is open to the public and offers legal advocacy, support groups, computers, programming and resources for women in our community facing domestic violence.

community advocacy services

Our caring and compassionate advocacy staff provides individual support, assistance with safety planning, housing options, transportation, assistance with criminal and civil court issues, assistance in writing Orders for Protection and Harassment Orders, and help in applying for government assistance. We also have satellite offices in Dodge and Fillmore  Counties.

Support and information groups

Our weekly support and information groups give women the chance to talk about their experiences with a trained advocate. Topics range from types of abuse and manipulation, to finding housing and personal growth. Childcare is available to women during group.
