House
Women's Shelter's Transition
House is a comfortable, affordable, safe, rooming house for homeless women
and their children. Each woman or family is provided a private room, meals,
transportation to work, school or appointments, help in obtaining job services,
education and job training programs, and help in finding affordable, permanent
housing.
Transition House renters pay 25% of their income for rent. The rest is subsidized. Renters who are subsidized by the state of Minnesota may rent in the Transition House for up to two (2) years.
