A program for Olmsted County
victims of domestic assault, the Intervention Project for Domestic
Assault
(IPDA), provides immediate and ongoing contact with the victim, gathers
a history of abuse for the court, attends all court hearings on behalf
of the victim, monitors the perpetrator, and coordinates and monitors
the
criminal justice system.
If you are assaulted by someone with whom
you
are in a relationship or have a child in common, or by a relative,
please
call 911. Law enforcement will help you and will put you in touch with
the shelter or an IPDA advocate.
